Doe Boy Kap - Drill

Doe Boy Kap - Drill [1st Day Out, EP] www.musicground.org/tributetokap Artist: Doe Boy KAP Song title: Drill recorded in Atlanta, GA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kap was a 20yr old up-and-coming rap artist who worked with Music Ground Entertainment. He was talented and wanted to take his music career to new heights. His ambition of becoming a lyricist & social media influencer was heralded as the industry superstar of 2020's era. His lyrics spoke about surviving a street mentality with a desire to empower. He wanted money and fame. Kap was a lady's man, charming, humorous, and hospitable. Inspired by artists such as NBA Young Boy, NLE Choppa, Migos & Tupac. I supported his vision as an entrepreneur and also produced tracks for him. I watched him mature and noticed his growth. It felt magical when we collaborated on projects in the studio. I have witnessed this young man develop over time. He was bold, independent, and unstoppable. Kap was known for his performances. He became creative and was also a big brother to his siblings. He was my nephew and had his own way of doing things. He showed strength in many ways as he faced many battles in life. He was ambitious and eager to find his way in this 'chaotic' world. Kap wanted to cherish the finer things in life. He wore his jewelry often and wore his Doeboy charm; the insignia for wealth. We went to the studio, and Kap couldn't help but hone in on his skill. He crafted his music and improved his delivery and style. He wanted to be acknowledged for his music and be around family. Initially, I began developing him as an artist, but Kap chose to write his own music. His songs became more based on compelling story-telling, and portraying difficult situations. He tried to resolve problems the best way he knew how. He didn't like to see confrontations and avoided conflicts. Unfortunately, KAP's life was taken from him while he was in the neighborhood where I was raised as a kid. It is a tragic irony that left a trail of tears. He left behind three boys and was a father that wanted to be there for his kids. KAP had good intentions to be there for his kids. He held two jobs to support them. KAP taught me to laugh during hard times & showed me it was ok to let things go, and reminded me to never stop praying. I know Kap was a true warrior who chased his dreams. He left before his time and he will remain in our hearts. I hope one day to see him again in the new Kingdom. Until then be free and limitless. In Loving Memory, 🕊️ Long Live Kap 🕊️ 01/22/03 to 03/28/23 Donations can be made to show your support ~ visit musicground.org/donatetokap**
